Welcome to The Hops Report! This is the inaugural post and my aim is to let you know what this thing is about and how it will work. Each week I will taste test a different beer and rate said beer on a 100 point system (look for a post later this week that explains my rating system).
There is no rigid method to choosing what beer I will report on during any given week, so I am definitely open to suggestions. I enjoy trying micro brews and craft beers, so you won't be seeing me reviewing Bud Light Lime or other mass produced swill. In general I will stick to posting beer reviews, but who knows, if I get the itch I might give a HSO on any number of topics. I hope you enjoy our uneducated journey through the beers of the world. If you have suggestions on what you'd like to see out of this blog, please let me know.
